Linking PAN with Aadhaar is mandatory for all Indian citizens. The last date to link was 30th June 2023, and from 1st July 2023, any PAN card not linked with Aadhaar became inactive. Later, the Government of India and the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) extended the deadline to 31st May 2024.

Fill in your PAN number and Aadhaar number, then click Validate.

Step 4: Provide Name & Mobile
Enter your name (as per Aadhaar) and your registered mobile number, then click Link Aadhaar.

Step 5: OTP Verification
You will receive a 6-digit OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter it and click Validate.

Step 6: Final Submission
After OTP verification, your Aadhaar–PAN linking request will be successfully submitted.

Step 1: Visit the Income Tax e-Filing Portal
Go to the Income Tax e-Filing website and click on the “Log In” button.
